A Fine Mid-18th Century George II Carved Pine Chimneypiece.

The central tablet with the head of Aurora, God of the dawn in the sunburst of the new day, flanked by a frieze enriched with generous sprays of acanthus leaves, capped with a tiered shelf punctuated by finely carved dentils, egg & dart, and bead & reel moldings. With some later restorations and replaced elements.
