An Early Regency Irish Blue Limestone Chimneypiece.

A late 18th century Irish chimneypiece in Blue Limestone, with reeded Doric columns and frieze. The pared back architectural language of this fireplace is reminiscent of Soane's innovative, neo-classical chimneypiece design. This piece previously resided in Rathnavogue House, County Tipperary.
