A Late Nineteenth Century Frame Chimneypiece Carved from Solid Sienna Marble.

The form is simple and highly elegant, with slim jambs leading up to a bowed header by way of serpentine shoulders. Subtly evoking the exotic, the form of this chimneypiece makes the most of the Sienna from which it is carved.
