‘Harmony of proportion and fitness of character, from which alone beauty can result.’ So wrote the Regency architect W.F. Pocock in ‘Designs for Rooms’, 1811. This fireplace is based on his drawing, ‘Design for a Dining Room Chimeypiece’. Its Greek key jamb decoration, fielded corner blocks and carefully devised shelf mouldings make this chimneypiece a fine example of the Regency style.

The Pocock is available in a variety of marbles. For more information, please contact our sales team here.
