A projecting Ancaster stone tablet centres the plain, simple mouldings of this Bath stone fireplace. The Romans appreciated the qualities of this mellow, creamy stone, as did the visionary builders Ralph Allen (1693–1764) and John Wood (1704–1754), who created the Georgian city of Bath.
The Petersham is available in a variety of stone. For more information, please contact our sales team here.
