Ellerton Mirror

Based on an early English Queen Anne pier mirror, with a broader form incorporating shaped, silvered and bevelled plates with lightly etched decoration to the top marginal sections, divided by decorated gilt paper fillets. The lower section with outer giltwood frame enclosing two central-shaped, bevelled, and lightly aged or ‘foxed’ split plates.
