Hallett Mirror

Taken from an early 19th-century convex mirror, the slender frame incorporates flattened and repeating laurel leaves, ribbon wrapped and interspersed with laurel berries, with an overall darkly patinated ebonised surface finish, with giltwood outer frame and inner slip. Supplied with a pleasing hanging loop, and enclosing a gently curving and lightly aged glass mirror plate.
