Paxton Bench

This long and intricately joined hall bench, constructed from British kiln dried beech and shown here in a sensitively aged earth yellow paint finish, is based on a George II ‘Gothic’ example. Hand constructed and jointed, the design carries an overall linking quatrefoil decoration, raised on ‘X form’ supports and with turned stretchers. This bench would sit comfortably both in a hall, bedroom, or under cover exterior setting.
