Godwin

This tapered, hexagonal brass and copper lantern has a pagoda style roof with scrolled supports above a rustic fretwork band. The Oriental feel and uncluttered lines are typical of Aesthetic Movement which held that the Arts should convey a sensuous pleasure of their own rather than stand for any moral or social message.
