Three cords of brass hold the cylindrical glass pane in place. Inspired by the industrial age of the early twentieth century, this wall light conveys a nautical efficiency. The detail is sparing and robust, yet the golden umber of the brass instils a lavish quality. The Adler is, perhaps, fit only for the captain’s quarters.
