A fine and architectural, 18th-century, carved pinewood antique fireplace. A broken pediment with carved acanthus leaves and dentils rests on a shelf forming an architectural cornice above a fluted frieze. The projecting end blocks are embellished with floral paterae and supported by elegantly scrolling ionic capitals above fluted columns on the jambs.
